Completed Developments : Eastgate

Eastgate, Clyde Gateway, Glasgow

This 65,000sqft BREEAM Excellent office for Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company, located adjacent to Bridgeton Cross, was one of the first key projects released to help regenerate this area of Glasgow. The project was put out to tender as a turnkey project where the successful developer would fund, construct and sell the completed investment. Dawn and our funding partner Aviva were successful in procuring the project through bid dialogue as developers and design and build contractor. Significant emphasis was placed on the regeneration of the area and the community benefits that would be realised. Dawn delivered in this regard by providing new entrant construction jobs, new apprenticeships, school work experience and a commitment to using local contractors. In addition to the benefits that 500 employees would bring to the local area Dawn were also able to provide the tenant, Glasgow Community and Safety Services, with £1.75M which was set aside for further community use.
